Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Dee Tracks Global platform ("Platform") operated by Dee Tracks Records (Pty) Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable South African laws. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Services
The Platform provides a digital marketplace for beat licences, VST plugins, and sound kits, as well as an Inner Circle educational portal and A&R demo submission service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.
3. Licence Tiers and Usage Rights
- Basic Licence: Non-exclusive, personal use only. Not for commercial distribution, radio, or streaming platforms.
- Premium Licence: Non-exclusive commercial use. Permits streaming, radio play, and digital distribution. Producer credit is required.
- Exclusive Licence: Exclusive rights to the beat. The beat is removed from the marketplace and may be used commercially without stream caps. Producer credit still applies unless contractually waived.
All licences are governed by South African copyright law and the applicable CAPASSO/SAMRO collecting society agreements.
4. Royalties and South African Compliance
Producers listed on the Platform may be registered with SAMPRA and CAPASSO. When you purchase a Premium or Exclusive licence, you accept responsibility for registering the final recording with SAMRO and for declaring streaming royalties where applicable.
5. Payments and Refunds
South African users are charged in South African Rand (ZAR) via PayFast. International users are charged through Paystack. All transactions are final. Refunds are only issued in the event of a demonstrable technical delivery failure. Contact info@deetracks.co.za within 48 hours of purchase for support.
6. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. The Company reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All beats, plugins, sound kits, and educational content on the Platform remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Purchasing a licence does not transfer copyright ownership unless a separate assignment agreement is signed.
8. Prohibited Use
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing purchased files to third parties.
- Using purchased beats to create free downloads that compete with the listing.
- Uploading malicious content or attempting to exploit the Platform.
- Submitting fraudulent demo content or impersonating another artist.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, with Johannesburg as the agreed jurisdiction.
